Neighborhood residents can access a free dumpster on Earth Day weekend, located at the "Y" intersection of 58th and Mcleay. Neighbors can drop off approved waste at no charge to clear out unwanted items.
NKM neighbors are encouraged to host individual yard sales beginning at 8 am. The neighborhood association will assist with promotion to various social sites and with community signage.
NKM neighbors are invited to enjoy a lively block party with games, a food and ice-cream truck, music, and a strong sense of community! The block party will be held on 57th St., south of Rural and will begin at 5pm.
Neighbors of all ages are invited to participate in a Halloween kickoff (starting at the Dell Zelle/Rural intersection) and enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa before an evening of trick-or-treating. The kickoff will begin at 6:00pm.
All residents are encouraged to attend the annual all-neighborhood meeting at the Broad Ripple Park Family Center at 6:15pm. During the annual meeting we discuss neighborhood needs, priorities, and future plans.
NKM lights up in December as residents share festive holiday lights showcasing creative displays and spreading seasonal cheer. The household voted to have the best lights will receive a gift card to a local vendor!
